THE 2024-25 SEASON:

Fly Eagles Fly! Philadelphia up-ends Kansas City's quest for a three-peat with a convincing 40-22 victory in Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles are in the process of establishing a dynasty of their own, advancing to the Super Bowl three times in the past eight years and winning it twice.

The 2025 playoff teams:

AFC

1. Kansas City (15-2) The Chiefs scratch and claw their way to the #1 seed with clutch 4th quarter performances by Patrick Mahomes and some good fortune. However, their luck runs out in Super Bowl LIX where they are dominanted  by the Eagles.

2. Buffalo Bills (13-4) Josh Allen win his first NFL MVP, but the Bills suffer a familiar playoff fate with a 29-32 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

3. Baltimore Ravens (12-5) Lamar Jackson delivers another MVP caliber season and Derrick Henry turns in one of his best seasons in his first year with the squad, but Baltimore's Super Bowl dreams are dashed once again in the playoffs with a 25-27 loss in Buffalo.

4. Houston Texans (10-7)  C.J. Stroud leads the Texans to two AFC South titles, and two playoff victories in his first two seasons as a pro.

5. Los Angeles Chargers (11-6) Jim Harbaugh breathes new life into the Chargers and leads the team back to the playoffs in his first year as coach. Justin Herbert throws only 3 interceptions in the entire regular season, but is picked off 4 times in a 12-32 playoff loss at Houston.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7) After a strong start, the Steelers lose four straight and stumble into the playoffs where they are handled by the rival Ravens 14-28 in Baltimore.

7. Denver Broncos (10-7) The Broncos have found their QB. Rookie Bo Nix gets better and better as the season goes on and leads the Broncos back to the playoffs.

NFC

1. Detroit Lions (15-2) The Lions look like a juggernaut for most of the season, but injuries ultimately catch up with the team as they are upset 31-45 at home by Washington in the Divisional Round.

2Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) Saquon Barkley proves to be the missing Super Bowl puzzle piece. Barkley delivers one of the best seasons by a running back in NFL history with 2005 yards rushing. The Eagles are a balanced team that can win in a variety of ways, which they do all the way to their second championship in franchise history.

3. Tampa Bay (10-7) The Bucs win the NFC South once again. Baker Mayfield quietly has a great season with 4500 passing yards and 41 TDs. Rookie RB Bucky Irving looks like a star in the making.

4. Los Angeles Rams (10-7) Matt Stafford and the Rams give the Eagles all they can handle in the Divisional Round, nearly pulling off a road upset in the snow at Lincoln Financial.

5. Minnesota Vikings (14-3) Sam Darnold resurrects his career and leads the Vikings to the third best record in the NFL. An early home playoff exit at the hands of the Rams takes some of the luster off an otherwise stellar season.

6. Washington Redskins (11-6) Jayden Daniels turns in one of the best seasons of all-time by a rookie QB and leads the Commanders all the way to the NFC Championship.

7. Green Bay Packers (11-6) Jordan Love has the Pack back in the playoffs again in his second season as a starter. Josh Jacobs improves Green Bay's rushing attack in his first season with the team.
