1958 BALTIMORE COLTS: Johnny Unitas leads the Colts to their first NFL Championship with a thrilling 23-17 overtime victory over the Giants, in what has been dubbed "The Greatest Game Ever Played".

 

 

1986 CLEVELAND BROWNS: Hometown hero Bernie Kosar leads the Browns to their first postseason victory since 1969. Cleveland hosts the AFC Championship, but falls to Denver in the game famous for "The Drive". 

 
 
 

2010 GREEN BAY PACKERS: The Pack enters the playoffs as the sixth seed, but finishes as Super Bowl XLV champions with a 31 to 25 victory of the favored Steelers. 

 

 

2006 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS: Manning out-duels Brady 38-34 in one of several epic, playoff match-ups between the legendary QB's. The Coilts go on to win their first Super Bowl since 1970 with a 29-17 victory over Chicago.

 

 

1958 NEW YORK GIANTS: The other half of "The Greatest Game Ever Played". This Giants squad features ten Hall of Famers including Rosey Brown, Frank Gifford, Sam Huff, Emlen Tunnell, and assistant coaches Tom Landry and Vince Lombardi. 

 

 

1981 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS: The pinncacle of "Air Coryell". Dan Fouts breaks his own NFL passing record averaging 300 yards per game. The Chargers are part of two legendary playoff games, "The Epic in Miami" (a 41-38 overtime victory over the Dolphins) and "The Freezer Bowl" (a 7-27 loss to the Bengals in the coldest NFL game ever with wind chill temps of -59 degrees).

1974 St. Louis Cardinals: The Cardinals win the NFC East and qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 1948. Jim Hart leads the NFC with 20 passing TD's, while hall of famer Roger Wehrli heads up a defense that surrenders only 15.6 points per game. 

 
 
 

1991 WASHINGTON REDSKINS: Monk, Clark, and Sanders are the best trio of receivers in the game. The Redskins (14-2) score 485 points, the third highest total in NFL history at the time, enroute to a 37-24 victory over Buffalo in Super Bowl XXVI.
