The Vegas Golden Knights become the youngest franchise to win a Stanley Cup defeating the surprising Florida Panthers 4-1 in the finals. The Panthers barely make the playoffs as an eight seed in the East, but manage to stun the heavily favored Boston Bruins in seven games in round one. The Bruins (65-12-5) break the record for the greatest regular season of all-time, but in the end fall victim to the curse of the President's Cup. The 2023 playoff teams:

Boston's Lars Ullmark claims the Vezina as the league's top net minder with an incredible 1.89 GAA, .938 SV% and 40-6-1 record.
