THE 1964 NFL SEASON:
The Cleveland Browns win their fourth title clobbering the Baltimore Colts 27-0 in the NFL Championship. Cleveland's legendary Jim Brown leads the league with 1446 rushing yards, while Baltimore's Johnny Unitas (2824 yds, 19 TDs, 6 Ints) earns NFL MVP honors delivering one of the greatest seasons of his storied career. Washington's dynamic half back Charley Taylor is named rookie of the year with 755 yds rushing and 814 yds receiving on 53 catches. The Card's Charley Johnson leads the league in passing with 3045 yds, while Johnny Morris of the Bears tops all pass catchers with 93 receptions and 1200 yards.

Green Bay (8-5-1) Lombardi's Packers experience a down year, but are still a tough out for any team.
Minnesota (8-5-1) QB Fran Tarkenton's scrambling ability causes fits for defenses.
Detroit (7-5-2) Alex Karras and Roger Brown combine for 27.5 sacks making life miserable for opposing QBs.
